Our shop is nestled on a beautiful 3000-acre exotic game preserve, where customers can enjoy the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country while browsing our selection of guitars, and amplifiers. The game preserve has over 25 species, and it's a unique opportunity to observe the wildlife while visiting our shop. We also offer 5 star accommodations for guests looking to try a guitar and amp over a few days. We are currently in the process of building a state-of-the-art recording studio and showroom space, measuring 3800 square feet, where customers can come and see our latest projects, play some of our favorite vintage guitars, and even record their own music. We believe that this space will provide a unique and immersive experience for our customers, and we can't wait to share it with you. MEET THE TEAM
Tucker "Scruffy" Beirne
founded Scruffs Vintage Guitars out of his life long love of music and vintage instruments. He is one of the world's preeminent vintage Marshall amplifier collector. Tucker also has a passion for photography. He is responsible for all the beautiful pictures on the website and Instagram.
Holger "Hogy" Notzel
has over 30 years of experience authenticating, repairing, and playing vintage guitars and tube amplifiers. In 1999 he co-founded Komet Amplification and still is active in design and product development. Hogy runs Holger Notzel Instrument Repair in Baton Rouge and also heads the Scruff's Vintage Repair department.
