Mission Statement

At Scruffs Vintage Guitars, our goal is to help musicians and collectors find truly special vintage instruments and amps. We focus on original Fender, Gibson, and Martin guitars from the 1930s to the 1970s, along with classic amps from Marshall, Vox, Fender, Dumble, and Trainwreck. Based on a private ranch in Stonewall, Texas, we also offer a world-class recording studio where great gear meets great sound. Whether you're selling a family heirloom or chasing the perfect tone, we’re here to make sure every instrument finds the right hands—and the right home.

Our Promise to You

Authenticity First: Every guitar and amp we sell is carefully vetted for originality, condition, and tone. No guesswork—just the real thing.

Respect the Legacy: Whether you're selling a family heirloom or cutting your next album, we treat every instrument and artist with care and respect.

Artists Over Collectors: We believe these guitars were made to be played. We place gear into the hands of musicians who will keep the story going.

Private. Personal. Professional. From our Stonewall, Texas ranch, we offer a trusted, private experience—never rushed, always honest.

"I've been playing guitar since I was 8 years old. I love music and I've always loved the instruments used to play it. I have bought lots of guitars and gear over the years from many different people and places. It's so nice to meet other people who love and respect the instruments like Scruff and Alex. Very helpful and trustworthy people who bend over backwards to help you find what you're looking for and give you fair prices on on those items. I had always wanted a Gibson 350 guitar and they sold me my dream 350 this year. They bought some of my guitars and vintage gear that I wouldn't let go to just anyone. Knowing how much they care about these items made it a lot easier to let go. I know that they have found and will find good homes. Thank you Scruff and Alex for renewing my faith in people. You are the best."

“Quick ship. Guitar arrived well packed, intact, and in the exact condition pictured and described. I could go into detail on how beautiful the guitar is but I think I'm supposed to stick to seller feedback, so I am giving 5 stars. Excellent seller, would buy again!”

“In today's world of unreliable merchants and mediocre service, I found Scruffs Vintage Guitar to be the best. The stellar service that I received was second to none. I truly recommend them for their great selection of guitars and amps. I purchased a 60's Stratocaster for my son as a present and Scruff went out of his way to ensure it would arrive just in time. This is truly a professional team with a great selection exquisite vintage guitars.”

"I was hesitant on buying a guitar online without seeing it. So I reached out to Scruff via phone and explained my worries about buying a guitar online. I was met with unprecedented results.. Scruff took the time to FaceTime me and show me every inch of the guitar I was interested in. The knowledge, kindness, and overall business is unmatched. I can’t express my gratitude enough . I’m so happy with my guitar and picktrays and I will be buying from Scruff again."
